Watch: Reigning national champion St. John Bosco pulls away from Sierra Canyon in second half, wins season opener 42-21

BELLFLOWER – More than 14 months after winning a national championship – and with former star QB DJ Uiagalelei watching from the sideline – St. John Bosco returned to the field with an impressive 42-21 season-opening victory over Sierra Canyon.

Sierra Canyon scored on its opening drive and only trailed by one touchdown at halftime, but Bosco wasn’t to be denied once they established a rhythm. Rayshon Luke ran for two touchdowns and Katin Houser had two touchdown passes.
