Despite college coaches and prospects being unable to visit with each other in person during the current recruiting dead period, several class of 2021 football players in the CIF Southern Section made their college decisions over the long weekend. Here are the five players who committed:
Garrett DiGiorgio – OL – Serrano – UCLA
DiGiorgio is a three star prospect according to 247Sports. He chose UCLA over Arizona, Cal, Utah and others.
DJ Harvey – CB – Sierra Canyon – Virginia Tech
Harvey visited Virginia Tech during their Midnight Madness event earlier this year. He’s intercepted 12 passes in his three years at Sierra Canyon.
Jamier Johnson – CB – Muir – Texas
Johnson is a four star prospect, per 247Sports. He intercepted four passes as a junior at Muir a year ago.
Nick Ostlund – DE – St. Margaret’s Episcopal School – Penn
Ostlund recorded 3.5 sacks a year ago for St. Margaret’s Episcopal.
Anthony Rosas – OL – Sierra Vista – UNLV
Rosas is the highest ranked offensive lineman in UNLV history, according to 247Sports. He chose UNLV over Auburn, Arizona State, Florida and others.
