HAYFIELD - Hayfield's Mason Tapp led all scorers with 32 points as the Vikings beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers 50-48 in a game at Hayfield.

Tapp's points came on 4 field goals, 6 three pointers and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Bladyn Bartlet added 13. Waterville Elysian Morristown fell to 2-1 overall while Hayfield improved their record to 5-1.

Waterville Elysian Morristown's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 7:15pm versus Blooming Prairie. Hayfield will host Kenyon Wanamingo on Tuesday Dec. 18 at 5:15pm.
