EVELETH - Virginia's Jayden Bernard led all scorers with 15 points as the Blue Devils beat Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears 67-34 in a game at eveleth.

Bernard's points came on 5 field goals and 5 of 9 free throws during the game.

Carter Mavec added 8. Eveleth Gilbert fell to 0-3 overall while Virginia improved their record to 4-2.

Eveleth Gilbert's next game is scheduled to be played at culver on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 5:15pm versus South Ridge. Virginia will host Deer River on Friday Jan. 18 at 5:15pm.
