EVELETH - Chisholm Forward Alec Pessenda led all scorers with 18 points as the Bluestreaks beat Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears 59-48 in a game at Eveleth.

Pessenda's points came on 8 field goals and 2 of 5 free throws during the game.

Jake Sickel added 11. Eveleth Gilbert fell to 0-7 overall while Chisholm improved their record to 1-1.

Eveleth Gilbert's next game is scheduled to be played at barnum on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 5:15pm versus Barnum. Chisholm will travel to Bigfork on Friday Jan. 25 at 5:15pm to play Bigfork.
