CHEWELAH - Chewelah Center Jake George led the way with 13 points as the Cougars beat Selkirk Rangers 69-43 in a game at Chewelah.

George's points came on 3 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Zech Curran added 5. Selkirk fell to 0-1 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 2-1.

Selkirk's next game is scheduled to be played at Chewelah on Saturday Dec. 1 at 7:30pm versus Chewelah. Chewelah will travel to Spangle, WA on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 6:00pm to play Liberty.
