MARYSVILLE-PILCHUCK HIGH SCHOOL - Mercer Island Forward Nate Wenzel led the way with 12 points as the Islanders beat Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks 54-50 in a game.

Wenzel's points came on 1 field goal and 10 of 10 free throws during the game.

Aaron Kalab added 8. while Mercer Island improved their record to 3-1.

Marysville Pilchuck's next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Dec. 21 at 7:15pm versus Archbishop Murphy. Mercer Island will host Juanita on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 7:15pm.
