PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL - Brookland's Evan Polsgrove led all scorers with 9 points as the Bearcats beat Piggott Mohawks 39-22 in a game at Piggott High School.

Polsgrove's points came on 4 field goals and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Brooklyn Langley added 8. Piggott fell to 0-2 overall while Brookland improved their record to 1-0.

Piggott's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Dec. 2 versus Maynard. Brookland will travel to HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL on Tuesday Jan. 4 to play Highland.
