WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM - Fordyce High School Athlete Ja'quez Cross picked up 165 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Fordyce Redbugs to a 35-32 win over Des Arc Eagles on Saturday night at War Memorial Stadium in a high school football game.
The Redbugs also received major efforts from Running Back Gary Lewis who rushed 9 times for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns and Quarterback Jaheim Brown who completed 2 passes for 62 yards and 1 touchdown.
Des Arc's Luke Morton threw for 106 yards and 1 touchdown and Eyan Holloway picked up 92 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Fordyce improve to 14-0 on the season while Des Arc falls to 13-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
