For some Arkansas high school volleyball teams, they are one step closer to Hot Springs.
Thursday will be the semifinal matches in all classifications, with the winners moving on to the “Spa City” for Saturday’s state title games.

Riley Brady, Episcopal Collegiate
The junior had 13 assists, 10 kills and four aces in Episcopal’s 3-0 victory against Dover in the 3A quarterfinals.
Kyla Clubb, Springdale Har-Ber
The senior outside hitter recorded a team-high 13 kills to help the Lady Wildcats to a 3-0 win against Fort Smith Northside in the 6A quarterfinals.
Jordan Benford, Springdale Har-Ber
Benford, a senior right-side hitter, recorded 11 kills in Har-Ber’s quarterfinal win.
Caylan Koons, Springdale Har-Ber
A senior setter, Koons finished with 36 assists for Har-Ber.
Lydia Pitts, Fort Smith Southside
Pitts, a freshman hitter, had 11 kills as the Lady Mavericks moved on to the 6A semifinals after a 3-1 win against Cabot in the quarterfinal round.
Tinsley Freeman, Fort Smith Southside
A junior liber, Freeman finished with 21 digs and served three aces in Wednesday’s win.
Toree Tiffee, Fort Smith Southside
The senior standout hitter had nine kills and also finished with 20 digs for the Lady Mavericks.
Kennedi Wyrick, Conway
Wyrick, a senior outside hitter, had 22 kills and served three aces as the Lady Wampus Cats rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Bentonville in five sets in Wednesday’s 6A quarterfinal.
Olivia Wiedower, Conway
A junior setter, Wiedower had 41 assists for the Lady Wampus Cats.
Madison Holloway, Conway
Holloway, a senior middle blocker, had 12 kills and nine total blocks in Conway’s come-from-behind quarterfinal win.
Madeline LaFata, Fayetteville
LaFata, a junior hitter/setter, had a team-high 12 kills and a hitting average of .500 as the Lady Bulldogs posted a three-set sweep against Bentonville West in the 6A quarterfinals.
Brooke Rockwell, Fayetteville
A junior outside hitter, Rockwell ended up with 11 kills for the Lady Bulldogs.
Kennedy Phelan, Fayetteville
Phelan, a junior setter, ended up with 33 assists and 11 digs for Fayetteville in its 6A quarterfinal win.
Romani Thurman, Little Rock Christian
A junior, Thurman recorded a team-high 11 kills along with three blocks in Little Rock Christian’s three-set win against Paragould in the 5A quarterfinals.
Elle Kerfoot, Little Rock Christian
Kerfoot, a senior, finished with 29 assists and six digs along with serving a team-high four aces for Little Rock Christian in Wednesday’s quarterfinal win.
Hallie Martin, Little Rock Christian
The senior ended up with nine kills and one block, along with serving three aces.
Anna Todaro, Lavaca
A senior, Todaro finished with a team-high 17 kills as the Lady Golden Arrows won their 2A quarterfinal, 3-0, against Crowley’s Ridge Academy.
Emerson Schaefer, Lavaca
Schaefer finished with 14 kills and also served an ace for the Lady Golden Arrows.
Rylie Green, Lavaca
In Lavaca’s 2A quarterfinal win, Green led her team with five service aces.
Madelen Jones, Mansfield
Jones had 14 assists, eight digs, one block and one service ace in the Lady Tigers’ three-set sweep against Conway Christian in the 2A quarterfinals.
Natalie Allison, Mansfield
Allison ended up with 21 assists, eight digs and also served a team-high 10 aces for the Lady Tigers.
Alyson Edwards, Mansfield
Edwards ended up with 12 kills and nine digs, both team highs, to go along with two blocks and two aces.
Shayla Foster, Hackett
Foster, a senior libero, had several important assists for the Lady Hornets in their 3A quarterfinal win, sweeping Hoxie in three sets.
Madeline Freeman, Hackett
A senior hitter/setter, Freeman had several kills and helped the Lady Hornets set up their front-row offense in Wednesday’s win.
Alex Newland, Greenbrier
Newland led the Lady Panthers in kills with 18 to go along with 24 digs and two blocks in their 3-1 win against Jonesboro in the 5A quarterfinals.
Marlee Vanover, Greenbrier
Vanover had 14 kills and 21 digs for the Lady Panthers in their 5A quarterfinal win.
Sydney Dunlap, Greenbrier
Dunlap led the Lady Panthers with 34 digs to go along with three service aces.
Morghan Weaver, Valley View
The junior finished with 14 kills and three blocks in her team’s 3-0 win against Southside-Batesville in the 4A quarterfinals.
Natalie Supine, Valley View
Supine, a senior, finished with 14 kills and three blocks for the Lady Blazers.
Micah McMillan, Valley View
A junior, McMillan had 18 assists and 12 digs to go along with four kills in Valley View’s 4A quarterfinal win.
Ryan Russell, Shiloh Christian
Russell, a junior, led her team with 15 kills to help the Lady Saints to a 3-0 win against Pulaski Academy in the 4A quarterfinals.
Madelyn Sestak, Shiloh Christian
Sestak, a senior, ended up with 11 kills and three blocks for Shiloh Christian on Wednesday.
Laila Creighton, Shiloh Christian
A freshman, Creighton helped her team win in the 4A quarterfinals with 38 assists and 11 digs as well as serving one ace.
