Here’s how the Top 25 Arkansas high school football teams fared in Week 2 action Friday night.

1. Bryant (2-0) – Idle 

2. North Little Rock (2-0) beat Fayetteville 14-7

The Charging Wildcats chalk up another big win against a 7A-West Conference opponent in a defensive struggle.

3. Pulaski Academy (2-1) lost to Lipscomb (Tenn.) Academy 64-28

It’s been a while since the Bruins were beaten by more than 30 points. 

4. Greenwood (2-1) lost to Fort Smith Northside 29-20

The Bulldogs can’t pull off the sweep of Forth Smith schools in back-to-back seasons.

5. Cabot (3-0) beat El Dorado 41-35

The Panthers hang on for their third straight win over 6A-East Conference opponents. 

6. Shiloh Christian (2-0) – Idle 

7. Fayetteville (1-2) lost to North Little Rock 14-7

The Bulldogs lose close to top teams in back-to-back weeks. 

8. Conway (2-1) beat Jonesboro 42-25

The Wampus Cats finish the nonconference season with back-to-back wins. 

9. Bentonville (2-1) beat Rockhurst (Mo.) 35-7

The Tigers take out their frustrations after losing to Conway last week against a team that entered Friday night with two narrow losses to top teams in the Kansas City, Mo., area. 

10. Lake Hamilton (2-0) beat Malvern 35-12

The Wolves pick up where they left off after a bye week last week.  

11. Little Rock Christian (3-0) beat Magnolia 42-27

The Warriors cap an impressive nonconference slate by avenging a loss to the Panthers a year ago. 

12. Bentonville West (2-1) beat Little Rock Central 40-20

The Wolverines ride a two-game winning streak into a bye week.

13. Har-Ber (0-2) – Idle 

14. Benton (1-1) beat Little Rock Southwest 63-19

The Panthers bounce back from a Salt Bowl loss two weeks ago with a blowout of the Gryphons. 

15. El Dorado (1-1) lost to Cabot 41-35

The Wildcats nearly pull off a major upset of the Class 7A Panthers and former El Dorado coach Scott Reed.

16. FS Northside (2-0) beat Greenwood 29-20

Northside beats the Bulldogs for the first time since 2018.

17. Harrison (3-0) beat Siloam Springs 35-31

Harrison avenges a loss from last season to stay undefeated going into a bye week. 

18. Jonesboro (1-2) lost to Conway 42-25

For the second straight week, depth of a bigger school on the road catches up with the Hurricane. 

19.  LR Catholic (0-2) – Idle 

20. Wynne (2-1) beat Morrilton 34-14

The Yellowjackets have little trouble with the Devil Dogs.

21. Stuttgart (2-1) lost to Warren 47-27

The Ricebirds can’t make it two straight over the Lumberjacks.

22. Harding Academy (2-1) beat Heber Springs 42-7

The Wildcats’ 28-game win streak against in-state opponents ended last week, but they rebound in a major way. 

23. Warren (1-1) beat Stuttgart 47-27

Warren proves why it is one of the top teams in Class 4A.

24. Joe T. Robinson (2-1) beat Marion 21-19

The Class 4A Senators pull out a win over a 6A opponent on the road. 

25. Fordyce (2-0) beat Camden Harmony Grove 22-20

The Class 2A Redbugs hold off a very quality 3A team in the Hornets.
