Listed below are some of the top stars and best performances of Week 1.

Chris Gannaway, Bryant, RB

The junior had 15 carries for 184 yards and four TDs in the Hornets’ 58-7 victory over Marion.

Carson Burnett, Bryant, QB

The senior completed 8 -of-9 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the Hornets’  58-7 win over Marion.

Cameron Vanzant, Farmington, QB

The sophomore completed 15-of -23 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for three more scores, in the Cardinals’ 56-27 win over Prairie Grove.

Logan Plumlee, Harrison, QB

The senior passed for 235 yards and three touchdowns in the Goblins’ 28-21 win over Mountain Home.

Malachi Gober, North Little Rock, QB

The junior completed 16-of-26 passes for 237 yards and three TDs, while rushing five times for 77 yards in the Charging Wildcats’ 58-28 win over Springdale Har-Ber.

Torrance Moore, North Little Rock, RB

The junior carried the ball 15 times for 153 yards and three scores in the Charging Wildcats’ 58-28 victory over Springdale Har-Ber.

Josh Lawson, Centerpoint, QB

The senior completed 11-of-14 passes for 249 yards and four TDs in the Knights’ 35-14 win over Murfreesboro.

Conner Whetsell, Prairie Grove, RB

The junior carried the ball just three times Friday night, but racked up 163 yards in a 56-27 loss to Farmington. He scored on runs of 77 and 83 yards.

Brandon Scott, Charleston, QB

The junior completed 6-of-9 passes for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Tigers’ 36-9 win over Dardanelle.

Hunter Little, Charleston, LB

The sophomore registered 15 assisted tackles and three unassisted in the Tigers’ 36-9 win over Dardanelle.

Carson Turley, Valley View, QB

The sophomore completed 11-of-13 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown, while rushing 16 times for 123 yards and three TDs in the Blazers’ 31-30 victory over Harding Academy.

Chi Henry, Van Buren, WR

The junior hauled in seven passes for 258 yards and had scoring receptions of 70 and 97 yards in the Pointers’ 31-20 win over Alma.

Bryce Perkins, Van Buren, QB

The sophomore completed 12-of-22 passes for 330 yards and 2 TDs in the Pointers’ 31-20 win over Alma.

Jackson Mullen, Baptist Prep, DB

The senior had two interceptions and recovered a fumble in the Eagles’ 41-0 win over Conway Christian.

Grayson Porter, Horatio, QB

The sophomore scored on a 2-yard run as time expired in a 25-21 victory over Dierks, snapping the Lions’ 23-game losing streak.

Preston Riddle, Greenbrier, S

The senior picked off two passes and returned one for a 96-yard TD in the Panthers’ 44-10 victory over Batesville

Keithlin Brown, Bigelow, QB

The senior ran for 220 yards and four touchdowns in the Panthers’ 54-32 win over Carlisle.

Hunter Alexander, Bigelow, RB

The senior ran for 175 yards and fou TDs in the Panthers’ 54-32 victory over Carlisle.
