Pulaski Academy picks Anthony Lucas to succeed Kevin Kelley as football coach

Anthony Lucas has been named the next head football coach for Pulaski Academy.

Lucas was a receiver for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 1995-99 and is a member of the Arkansas Hall of Fame. He had been serving as the wide receivers coach and junior high head coach at the Little Rock private school.

Lucas succeeds Kevin Kelley, who won 216 games and nine state titles with the Bruins before taking the head coaching job at Presbyterian College in South Carolina. New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick called Kelley the best high school coach in the nation.

Check back soon for more on Lucas and Pulaski Academy.
