Here’s a look at how SBLive’s Top 20 Arkansas high school football teams fared in games played Friday, Nov. 13, the first week of the playoffs in the state.

HOW THE TOP 20 FARED

Nov. 13, 2020

1. Bryant (10-0) beat Rogers Heritage 34-7

Bryant has won 27 in a row and will face Har-Ber in the second round of the 7A playoffs next week.

2. Bentonville (10-0) – First-round bye

3. North Little Rock (9-1) beat Fort Smith Southside 38-0

North Little Rock will play host to Little Rock Catholic next Friday in the 7A quarterfinals.

4. Pulaski Academy (9-0) – First-round bye

5. Greenwood (11-0) beat West Memphis 55-10

Hunter Wilkinson rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns in the first half for the Bulldogs. Greenwood will play Mountain Home in the second round of the 6A playoffs.

6. Conway (7-3) beat Springdale 66-21

The Wampus Cats will take on LR Central in the second round of the 7A playoffs.

7. Lake Hamilton (9-1) beat Sheridan 49-36

The Wolves scored 21 first-quarter points. They’ll take on El Dorado in the second round of the 6A playoffs.

8. Cabot (7-3) beat No. 13 Rogers 48-15

Cabot will face Bentonville in the second round of the 7A playoffs.

9. Wynne (9-0) – First-round bye

10. Benton (6-4) – DNP, COVID-19

Unfortunately, Benton couldn’t play this week because of COVID-19, so its season is over. Marion advances to play Van Buren in the second round of the 6A playoffs.

11. Parkview (8-1) beat Searcy 42-7

Landon Rogers rushed for four touchdowns. Parkview will play Sylvan Hills in the second round of the 6A playoffs.

12. Bentonville West (6-4) – DNP, COVID-19

Unfortunately, Bentonville West couldn’t play this week because of COVID-19, so its season is over. Catholic advances to play North Little Rock in the second round of the 7A playoffs.

13. Rogers (6-4) lost to No. 8 Cabot 66-21

Rogers’ season comes to an end. The highlight of the Mountaineers’ season was a 49-42 win over No. 20 Har-Ber on Oct. 30.

14. LR Christian (6-2) – First-round bye

15. Harrison (8-1) – First-round bye

16. Shiloh Christian (7-1) – Idle

17. Fort Smith Northside (5-5) lost to No. 20 Har-Ber 49-28

Northside didn’t score until there was less than a minute to play in the first half. The Grizzles never got it closer than two scores.

18. Robinson (7-3) – Idle

19. Fayetteville (4-6) lost to LR Central 37-35

A week after beating No. 20 Har-Ber, Fayetteville’s season comes to an end.

20. Har-Ber (5-6) beat No. 17 Fort Smith Northside 49-28

Har-Ber will play No. 1 Bryant in the second round of the 7A playoffs next week.
