SBLIVE 5A FOOTBALL POWER RANKINGS

Sept. 9, 2020

1. Pulaski Academy (1-0)

Pulaski versus Tennessee powerhouse Ravenwood this Friday could prove to be the interstate game of the year. This is not one for high school football fans in either state to miss.

2. Little Rock Christian Academy (2-0)

LRCA is two-for-two with big wins, first Central and now Searcy. The Warriors can’t take their feet off the gas pedal this week with Magnolia on deck.

3. Wynne (2-0)

Wynne’s 39-6 blowout of West Memphis might have been the statement win of the week. This week they face Morrilton, who is more dangerous than some realize coming off a rout of Beebe.

4. Harrison (2-0)

Despite giving up more points than they’d like to for the second straight week, Harrison has gotten it done in both non-league contests so far. Their matchup this week against Siloam Springs should be an exciting battle.

5. Maumelle (1-1)

While the Hornets couldn’t pull out the win, they pushed reigning 4A champion Robinson significantly in a 28-20 loss last week. In yet another fun matchup involving 5A teams, this week, they face yet another test in Vilonia.
