As we’ve already seen in Arkansas, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the 2020 high school football season forcing some games to be cancelled. This week, Fort Smith Northside won’t play its game against Greenwood because of “concerns related to COVID-19 exposure in the program,” according to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
Greenwood will now play Har-Ber this this week. Fort Smith Northside will be given a no-contest due to the cancellation, not a loss.
Last Friday, Forrest City canceled its football game at Hamburg, due to two players testing positive for COVID-19, according to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
