Davondre Bucannon, Senior, Chaparral

Kaspen Colbert, Junior, Mica Mountain

Colbert helped Mica Mountain win the program’s first varsity game, against Coolidge on Friday, with his explosive offensive performance. He had just under 160 yards on 15 carries in the 13-7 victory. (Stat Credit: Javier Morales)

Grady Hickey, Senior, Chaparral

At a critical time in the game, Hickey was able to break free around the 15-yard line and take it all the way to the end zone, giving Chaparral the winning touchdown against Saguaro.

Will Galvan, Junior, Cactus

He helped power the Cobras to their fourth straight 50-point game in the blowout over Sunrise Mountain, helping Cactus remain undefeated. (Stat Credit: Matt Loeschman)

Gabriel Grutzmacher, Senior, Mountain View (Mesa)

Grutzmacher had the play of the game against Mesa, tipping a pass before recovering it and taking it 50 yards to the end zone for a touchdown, helping Mountain View defeat Mesa 24-14 and improve to 4-0.

Zeus Pinder, Sophomore, Millennium

The Tigers’ run game was on fire Friday, led primarily by the sophomore, who accounted for more than half of the team’s approximately 240 total rushing yards on the night in the 23-20 victory over Mountain View – Marana.

Sinjin Schmitt, Junior, Boulder Creek

In the Jaguars’ 56-42 rout of the Higley Knights, Schmitt had five touchdowns as he helped the offense find a way to overpower Higley in the fourth quarter. (Stat Credit: Cody Cameron)

CJ Tiller, Junior, Williams Field

Tiller threw all three touchdown passes in the 21-0 rout of Campo Verde, one being a 29-yard pass to senior Lasjwan Hunter to help the Blackhawks power past the Coyotes.

EJ Warner, Senior, Brophy

Warner had another phenomenal week, completing 20 of his 32 passes for 175 yards to help power Brophy to a 20-7 win over Notre Dame Prep in the Holy Bowl.
