Murphy carried the ball 17 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns to lead Murphy to a 45-7 win over Mary G. Montgomery.
J’Marion Burnett, Andalusia RB
Burnett rushed 17 times for 137 yards and two TDs in Andalusia’s 28-14 loss to Pike Road.
Clinton Chase, Tabernacle QB
Chase threw for 89 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns to lead Tabernacle to a 60-42 win over Jacksonville Christian.
Zach Kittrell, Bayside Academy QB
Kittrell passed for 72 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 166 yards and another TD – an epic 37-yard scramble that made ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays – in Bayside’s 34-28 OT loss to Hillcrest (Evergreen).
Chase Letner, Trinity RB
Letner carried the ball 10 times for 131 yards and a touchdown in Trinity’s 63-0 win over Beulah.
Collin Moon, Oneonta RB/FS
Moon racked up 270 yards of offense and scored four TDs to lead Oneonta to a 47-14 win over Ashville. His scores came on two rushing TDs, a 90-yard kickoff return and a 42-yard pick-six.
Caleb Nix, Central (Phenix City) QB
Nix went 10-of-14 for 182 yards and three TD passes and added a TD run to lift Central to a 52-6 win over Jeff Davis.
Glenn Patrick, Fairhope RB
Patrick rushed 16 times for 91 yards and three touchdowns to lead Fairhope to a 38-10 win over Foley.
Dylann Roper, Athens RB
Roper carried the ball seven times for 108 yards and three touchdowns to lead Athens to a 56-7 win over Hazel Green.
Kenneth Stephens, Valley LB
Stephens racked up 13 tackles, including five for a loss, blocked a punt and returned an interception for a touchdown in Valley’s 35-20 loss to Russell County.
A.J. Wallace, Moody QB
Wallace passed for 270 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 73 yards in Moody’s loss to Leeds.
